Jan Henry Kruse

 

Throughout his professional life, Jan has been working to increase the organisational effectiveness of businesses.

 

As a senior change manager with expertise in aligning people and strategy, he focuses on organisational development and strategic change management.

 

Here are some highlights of his 15+ years experience in helping businesses in Australia, Germany and Scotland:

 

·        He was the change manager in a strategic transformation of a large Monash University Department

·        He designed and executed strategies for a successful turnaround of a distribution business in Scotland

·        He designed and implementation electronic data interchange processes EDI in the airline industry (Tui Airline Group)

·        He customised and implemented 14000 environmental and ISO9000 quality management systems in a number of SMEs

·        He implemented the "investor in people standard" in a 100+ staff organisation incl. certification by IIP UK

·        He was co-founder and director of a successful internet start-up.

 

His latest role was Integration Manager with the multi national REA Group which runs portals such as www.realestate.com.au. He successfully managed the post merger integration of the 5mio EUR acquisition of a European Portal Group in record time across country, language and cultural barriers. As part of the role he built a complete process framework for future integrations.

 

Jan is particularly successful in engaging stakeholders at all levels for the design and implementation of sustainable solutions that are embedded in the organisation and its culture. He uses his hands-on empathic communication skills to facilitate consensus and implement solutions with high momentum.

 

He is armed with a degree in Business Economics and post graduate studies in Linguistics and Conflict Management, as well as being a certified Quality System Auditor.

 

Jan and his family moved from Germany to Melbourne in 2005.
